Cody D. Stevens

Cody Dwayne Stevens, 38, of Marion, Texas, passed away at home on the evening of June 25, 2023. He was born on November 1, 1984, in Seguin, Texas, as the firstborn to Julie Stevens. Cody is survived by his devoted partner Sarah Little, stepchildren Riley, Colin, and Dylan, grandfather Lyle Stevens, mother Julie Stevens Weir, brother Shayne Stevens and wife Hannah, uncle Scott Stevens and wife Sheri, uncle Timothy Stevens, cousins: Rhiana Savage Bliss and husband Greg, Zachary Stevens and wife Amanda, Hannah and husband Dillan. Cody was predeceased by his grandmother Vergie Stevens, uncle Trey Stevens and aunt Glynnis Savage Stevens. He now joins three of his most cherished family members, so together they may watch over those they hold dear.

Cody came from a large and loving family, where his heart overflowed with compassion and warmth. He touched the lives of those around him with his unwavering empathy and infectious smile. Cody’s loving nature extended beyond his immediate family. His heart was full when he knew he was making those he loved happy. His devotion was evident in his role as a loving partner to Sarah and a stepfather to Riley, Colin, and Dylan. He embraced this role, providing a foundation of love and stability in their lives.

Tragically, Cody’s time with us was cut short, but his legacy of love and kindness will forever inspire us. As we gather to celebrate his life and cherish the memories we share, let us remember the light he brought into the lives of those around him.

A celebration of Cody Dwayne Stevens’s life will be held on July 29, 2023, at 411 Cowboy Cove, Seguin, TX 78155, beginning at 2:00 pm. Please dress comfortably and cool, honoring Cody by wearing blue.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests notes, photos, and other biodegradable keepsakes. These items will be gathered and placed with his ashes, creating a meaningful tribute to honor Cody’s memory.
