It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Connie Cerda Corona on December 22, 2022 due to complications from cancer. She passed away peacefully in her home in San Antonio, Texas. She was 94 years old. Born to Juanita and Felipe Cerda on January 28 1928 in McAllen, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, husbands Eugene L. Henry Sr. , Jose Corona, first born son Eugene L. Henry Jr. first born grandson Thomas H. Adair Jr. and nephew David Cortez. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Laura Wavra, Carolyn MacDonald, Linda Olague, and son Ricky Esparza. Grandchildren Randy Adair, Gary Moore II, Michelle Azille and husband Ferguson, Miranda Esparza, Stefanie Esparza and Amber Esparza , several great grandchildren nieces and nephews. The family wish to give an eternal thank you to all of the nurses at Guiding Light Hospice and Abundant Hospice House in San Antonio, Texas for their loving care of our mom and a special thank you to Angela ❤️. Although we grieve the loss of our beloved mother, we take comfort in knowing that she’s with her heavenly family and no longer suffering from pain.
