April 11, 2017 ~ April 6, 2017
Connie Marie Martinez born on October 5, 1967, entered into rest on April 6,2017 at the age of 49, in San Antonio, TX. She was an amazing, strong willed, passionate woman who loved to sing and worship the Lord. One of her biggest joys was caring for her parents and grandchild. Connie's physical beauty was just a radiant as her spirituality. She had a terrific sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. Connie was a devoted daughter to Sylvia and Tomas Castillo; proud mother to Moses Nicholas Martinez; loving grandmother to Sophia Genevieve Martinez; and the best big sister to Teresa and Tomas. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

My condolences to my cousin Connie’s immediate family. Connie was a compassionate, thoughtful, respectful, courteous amazing woman. I have fond memories of her. She will be missed by so many…as she touched many people’s hearts. I love you cousin.
Rest in peace Connie may perpetual light shine upon you. It was a pleasure knowing you and I enjoyed our laughs and talks. My Condolences to Bro Tom and Sylvia , Lil Moe as she would say. And the rest of the family. She’s at peace now free of pain. Till we meet again Connie. Rest in Paradise.
Rest in Peace Connie. I will always remember the time we went to your house after Church service to celebrate Uncle Tom’s Birthday and how we said we only wanted a little bit of spaghetti but you went ahead and served us a big plate full along with salad and tea and then birthday cake. I think about that and it still warms my heart. May you sing and dance with the Angels.
Losing a family member or friend is difficult. We can find comfort from our merciful god Jehovah and the beautiful hope of the resurrection that he has given us, and a time when death will be a thing of the past. We find this hope at 1 Corinthians 15:55 where it says “death where is your victory.. death where is your sting†The bible has many promises like this that give us hope of a much better life. I hope that you can find a measure of comfort from the hope found in the bible.
My sincere condolences. Philippians 4:6,7
