Corell “Nudie” Kelly was born in Taylor, Texas to Joe Kelly and Leola Johnson Hood on December 24, 1943. She moved to San Antonio at a very young age, and finished out her education at Sam Houston High School. Corell accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Corell loved to travel and was well known in California and New York as a hard-working woman, being the oldest of six she made sure her mother, siblings, and daughter were taken care of. Corell loved to laugh and spend time with family, especially with her daughter and grandchildren. Attending church every Sunday was a priority for her and she lived to spread the word of her Lord Jesus Christ. Corell will be truly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
Corell was preceded in death by her grandparents Willie and Johnnie Johnson. Her father Joe Kelly, her mother Leola Johnson Hood, and her first granddaughter Lakieshia Corell Shaw.
Corell leaves to cherish her loving memory daughter Bridget R. Kelly Boiser (Darrell), brothers Printist D Hood (Joyce), Anthony C. Hood, Nathan Hood. Sisters Kathleen Grace and Joslyn Jackson. Seven grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Which are all of San Antonio, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends.

I’m gonna really miss you. It want be the same not hearing your hearty and beautiful laughter. You always gave me genuine advice . You wanted to make sure Danny and I took care of each other. Family was very important. You ALWAYS kept your Faith in Jesus Christ . You were one of a kind and you will always be forever in my heart. Rest now until we meet again

Am going to miss you so much mama I just felt in love with you when I came to take care of you and so glad I came to the hospital and sit with you them 4 hour but am hurting so bad because I did not get to say goodbye to you not knowing that was going to be my last time to see you you will forever be in my heart 💜❤️ and if I live right I will see you again
As of now my heart is heavy I just love you and I know you loved me too.
