Crystal R. Bright-Wilson

Crystal Renee Bright-Wilson was born on February 27, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Robert Ernest Bright and Christine Beverly Bright. She was the youngest of four siblings. Crystal accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She received her formal education at Sam Houston High School, graduating in 2006, and later furthered her studies at the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI). On the evening of Saturday, July 4, 2026, God called her home unexpectedly at the age of 45. Her passing has left her family with profound sorrow, deep loss, and indescribable grief, creating a void that can never be filled. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit will forever live on in our hearts, our minds, and our cherished memories. Crystal was a talented master stylist and makeup artist, as well as a dedicated entrepreneur/owner for over 20 years. She proudly maintained her Texas Barbering and Cosmetology license as a licensed Cosmetology Operator. From 2023, Crystal worked with Progressive as a Consultant – Sales Trainee (LIC), In this role, she served as a licensed insurance agent, supporting clients across multiple states.

Crystal was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was previously married to Patrick Wilson, with whom she shared two beautiful children who she cherished with all her heart, Kendall Wilson and Kendrick Wilson. Crystal was an exceptional cook who found joy in bringing people together through her meals. Through her cooking, she created a space filled with love, warmth, and cherished memories for family and friends. Crystal loved streaming series and binge-watching her favorite shows, often immersing herself in stories that brought her joy, laughter, and relaxation.

Crystal was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Ernest Bright and Christine Beverly Bright, and her brother, Timothy Bright. She was also preceded by a host of beloved family members, including her great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Kendall Wilson, and son, Kendrick Wilson; her sisters, Joy Bright Gills (Russell) and Monique Bright Bailey; her nieces, Taylor Guidry and Miyl Gills (Atreyu); her nephews, Devin Gills, Jayden Gills, and Darwin Bell; her uncles, Donald Ray Beverly (Sharon) and James Bright Jr.; and a host of cousins, dear friends—Marsha L Oliver, Jenae Warren Jackson, January Rishell and many others whose lives she touched.

A Beautiful Life Remembered & Celebrated

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we gather to celebrate the radiant life, cherished memories, and legacy of Crystal. Her spirit, warmth, and love will continue to shine through all who knew and loved her.

A public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a joyful Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
