Cynthia Lee Franklin, “Sissy” as she was lovingly known by family, went to be with the Lord at the age of 69 on September 13, 2023. She was born September 3, 1954 to Elmo Franklin and Mattie Young in Victoria, Texas. Cynthia was a social butterfly. She loved to entertain and host. Her favorite thing to do was to hangout with her sisters – laughing, singing, playing spades and having a good time. Never one to be shy, Cynthia always spoke her mind and would tell you exactly what was on her mind. Cynthia loved to eat and to cook for her family, she would fry up a gospel bird every Sunday. She loved her children and doted on her grandchildren. Her love of life and laughter will forever be missed by all.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Mattie Franklin; siblings, Carolyn Young, Elmo Young and Ronnie Franklin.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry (Memory) Franklin, Reginald Garner and Lawanna (Derrick) Kincade; siblings, Sherryl Franklin, Shirley Franklin, Janice Wilson and Ricky Franklin; grandchildren, Emersen Kincade, Harrison Kincade, Amore Garner and Trinity Garner , Britany Franklin Farris, Christian Clack, Alicia Williams, Isaiah Franklin, Keyjonia Franklin, Claudia Franklin, Micah Franklin, DeVonte Medeiros, Devine Franklin, Devocean Medeiros, Elijah Franklin, Jacoi Jackson; great-grandchildren, Brayden Franklin, Noelle Farris, Brielle Farris, Jordan Clack, Leilani Clack, Susie Clack, Harley Clack, Naomi Williams, Jeremiah Williams, Ezirah Williams, Robert Franklin, Ralphie Franklin, Imani Franklin, Osirus Franklin, Kendrick Franklin, Kyndal Franklin, Michalynn Franklin; special friend, Billie Perryman; and a host of extended family and friends.
