My experience with Meadowlawn staff and my Funeral Director Whitney was absolutely the best.
At such a difficult time in my life Whitney was not only compassionate and understanding but went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. She listened to every detail about my wants for My Mother's service.
Overwhelmed with appreciation, gratitude. Meadowlawn gave me peace of mind at one of the most toughest time of my life. Our funeral director Rachel Garcia made sure all our needs were meet, helping coordinate everything giving my mother the absolute best service she could have.
During the most difficult time of my life, Elizabeth was very compassionate and had patience at every point of contact I/we had with her. When entering the funeral home everyone was friendly and very professional.
I just had a very spiritual and enlightening experience with funeral director. (Ms R Garcia) She is very competent and professional. She worked with me since early morning hours. I am so grateful for every minute I spent with her She was very quick at resolving several issues we had and she was very fast at getting things done. Not only is she very professional, she is also very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable about the business.
Meadowlawn far exceeded our expectations. Their candor and grace were reassuring during my mother's passing. We had a small issue with a previous employee that was fully rectified. Mary's Garden was a beautiful option for our loved ones.
Words cannot express the gratitude we have for the staff at Meadowlawn. From the day our Mom made her pre-needs selection to the day of her final arrangements, we felt confident that we made the right choice. Sherrie’s compassion and professionalism gave us the comfort to feel Mom’s service was planned and handled with love.
Truly Thank You to Whitney, along with all included staff, at MeadowLawn Memorial and Kathy with the Aftercare program with all support regarding my loved ones arrangements and services. My family and I are very appreciative of your professionalism and sympathy during these times.
My family received excellent service and respect throughout this process. Ms. Watson was able to anticipate our needs before we knew what came next. I received comments from individuals on the program that Whitney called them by name and showed them where to go, etc. I second guessed myself which showed I was stressed. Ms. Watson asked me what I wanted to do and don’t worry about anyone else. This was huge! I felt so relieved after that I was then able to complete the task. I would also like to mention Raymond and Sam for their professionalism as well as Ms. Watson. Thanks
My husband and I would like to thank MeadowLawn Funeral home from the bottom of our hearts for going above and beyond to make Belo, our retired Military Working Dog’s passing services as smooth as they possibly could’ve been. Rachel Garcia took very good care of us and made me feel right at home and helped me cope with his passing. They did exactly what we wanted. We are blessed to have ended up meeting such wonderful people who show you they truly do care about you and understand what you are going through. I can not emphasize more how grateful we are for taking care of his services for us. We appreciate you and truly could not have chosen a better place for him.
Greetings from the Lee & Todd Families! We would like to extend our sincere THANKS to MeadowLawn Funeral Home! Our family has had the pleasure of working with the staff in planning the services for our loved ones! You all have been so helpful and understanding during this process. Your staff was so patience with us and we greatly appreciate everything! Special Thank you to Erika Reyes for taking time out of her day off to insure that the Cremation service was flawless!!!! Blessings, Bobby & Shelia Lee
My family and I send our sincere gratitude to the staff at MeadowLawn for helping us get through an extremely difficult time as smoothly as possible. We were so disheartened with other establishments we visited before finding Rachel and Ray with MeadowLawn. They were respectful of our wishes and really gave us a sense of security that they would handle things appropriately and allow us the space to give our attention to family. Everyone we encountered was genuine, comforting and committed to making sure the service met our expectations. Even beyond that, the tapestry blanket they did to commemorate my mother was so unexpected and appreciated. It was that level of personal attention that we felt so compelled to comment on.
Yesterday, I purchased my 5th cremation policy from Elaine Edwards when I went to pick up my sisters ashes from Miriam Garcia. These 2 ladies are the reason. They Both are caring, informative, and considerate ladies that make this process easier. I truly have appreciated both of them in the help they extended to me over the last several years. Thanks to both of them, they are exceptional ladies!!
On behalf of the Palomo family I want to say thank you to the entire staff at MeadowLawn for the compassion, empathy, and caring, they showed to our family during the loss of our beloved mom. The service on Saturday, August 3, 2019, was beautiful and noteworthy because of MeadowLawn's commitment to service and professionalism it contributed to a dignified memorial service. A special thank you for Mr. Betancourt for his professionalism and his attention to detail on the day of the service and I would also like to acknowledge Ms. Elizabeth Jimenez for her professionalism, compassion, and guidance in helping us plan the memorial service. The service provided exceeded our expectations! A heartfelt thank you to everyone!
On behalf of the Chapman Family, I want to thank MeadowLawn for the funeral and burial services that was provided on behalf of our mother, Ms. Billie V. Wells. Most noteably, Ms. Rachel Garcia's (Funeral Director) professionalism and knowledge guided and facilitated our efforts with ensuring that our mother was laid to rest respectfully and with dignity and class. There was absolutely no pressure placed on my family and I as she guided us through the various packages and options that MeadowLand had to offer. Her efforts were extremely noted as she facilitated the funeral ceremony and directed the burial process at graveside. She is surely a value-added member of the MeadowLawn team. I would recommend MeadowLawn to any Family seeking a professional, prompt, respectful, and courteous funeral home for their loved one. Thank you Ms. Garcia. You come highly regarded and recommended. v/r Kenneth M. Chapman Major Retired United States Air Force.
On Behalf of the Moreno Family I want to give a BIG Thank You to Ms. Kerri for holding our hand when we came to get things situated for “Honey” and a BIG Thank You to Ms. Rachel for walking us through the whole process for being compassionate caring and considerate of My Poppas feelings throughout this difficult time. You treated us like family and I truly appreciate that!! I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for making this whole situation less stressful!!
From the family of Margaret Kittinger, I want to thank all the staff at MeadowLawn for their personal compassionate and caring service. My mother chose to take advantage of preparing ahead of time to save her children the added stress of planning things after she had passed. While still painful, what a tremendous weight it lifted off our shoulders when she did pass away. To the entire staff, staff from the agent that came to our home to help with the prearrangement, to the crew that came to get Mom when she passed, and the office staff that helped with the last of the paperwork......on behalf of my sisters and I, a very heartfelt thank you.

RIH Uncle Dan I will hold you in my heart forever. Love your Niece Faye “ONE DAY AT A TIME “
My name is Sheila Barra Duncan. Dan sister Barbara and I married two Duncan brothers Ned and Roy. The first time I met Dan he had such a beautiful smile 😃 on his face was a very humble and funny man. I really enjoyed being around with the family when Dan was there you always knew you were gonna have a good time. Rest well my brother God only pick the best. Bless all of the family of Daniel Jackson May God keep his loving arms around each of you. Love 💗 Sheila Barra Duncan.
I have so many wonderful memories with you uncle Dan. From you christianing me as your godchild when I was little girl. And as a kid we always came over to visit you and auntie Sandra when you stayed in Baton Rouge….we had so much fun. To when we took that long bus trip with all the family to Boston, MA to see auntie Bernice graduate from Harvard. We all were so excited to visit you in San Antonio, Texas everytime we came….you made sure we had a good time. We couldn’t wait to see you when you came to visit me and my family in Stone Mountain, Georgia and taking that scarey ride to the top of mountain to see the city. And traveling with you and my kids to Disney World…it was a long drive but you made it so fun. And whenever you came home for family reunions or cookouts or just to visit…we didn’t want you to leave. There are so many hilarious memories at moms house that I can’t even speak about. We always had a good time and you made every day worth your stay. I will forever love you and keep you in my heart. Rest in Peace Uncle Dan. Your godchild Becky
Beautiful Cynthia you making me Cry is Dan so Much. Beautiful words him he my brother you said a mouth full Cynthia Love You.
Wow Becky so Beautiful yes Great Memories with Dan you said it all Becky will miss Dan.
Thank you Sheila Love You
I will forever cherish his memory and hold them close to my heart. He was the fun uncle who made you laugh and I made him laugh. His heart was as big as our eyes could see. Giving unconditionally and never asking for anything in return. My memories of him as a little girl was his beloved cutlass supreme with ragtop and mag wheels. His love for ice cream that I shared along with him. His comic book collection. Earth, Wind and Fire and all funk bands in the 70s. Barbara Dan and Bernice were collectively known as “boy”. And those painful times when he would grab my foot and pop all of my toes and leave them burning in pain. My memories of him as an adult was his generous heart. When he came around he made sure everyone had what they need to have a good time. For family cookouts, he spared no expense on crawfish. Mind you he didn’t eat crawfish tail. When we visited him in San Antonio he paid for our meals and passes to the amusement parks. Uncle Dan lived his life to the fullest. He left with no regrets. There was nothing he could not or did not do. If he wanted it he worked hard to for it. If he wanted to do it he made sure he was able to. And if you needed him he would always come through. My dear uncle, I will miss you not just for your generosity but for you being you.
Daniel my Brother you gave no one a last good bye You were gone before we knew it, And only Gods knows why, we will miss you and million times we will cry. Love you Dan Sis Barbara Jackson 😢
I will always and forever remember Daniel as a man of God, a warrior of God, a music man who could play anything on a guitar and a sweet sweet soul. May his memory be eternal and may he rest in person. Sing with the angels, Daniel.
