Darinda Mae West, 79, passed away April 17, 2024. She was born February 2, 1945 in Merkle, Texas to Lloyd Elsworth Bell and Mable Hunter. Darinda is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mable Bell, and son, James Michael Fite.
Darinda was known for her stubborn independence her strong will and determination but also her kind heart. If someone was in need she was right there to give a helping hand or give what she could to help.
She is loved by many and will be missed Left to cherish her memory is her partner, Randall Ellis; children, Debbie Haynes, Alma (Russell Ellis)
Cross, Robert Fite and Ronda West; siblings, Joe(Sharon)Bell and Ronnie (Sharon) Bell; grandchildren,
Camille, Joshua, Blake, Molly, Hailey, Ashley, Brandy, Caitlynn, Dawnlynn, Rob, Wendy, Danielle, Dustyn
and Justyn; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way; many nieces, nephews, extended family and
friends.
