David Leroy Bond was born October 2, 1953 to J.T. Bond and Ida Mae White. He went to Wheatley High School where he earned his affectionate name Snake on the basketball court. He was a Poker Player and worldwide gambler! He accepted Christ and was a faithful member at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary and children Brandy Crayton, David Hardy, Damika (Oliver Jr.) Alshanic, Eddie, Lester (Alicia) and Chimere. Brothers Malik, Phillip, Bobbie of San Antonio and Johnnie of Houston TX. one brother-in-law David Burton, two bonus daughters Tatra and Keshia, twenty eight grandkids, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his mom, dad, two sisters Georgia Singelton & Ida Ann Singelton, mother-in-law Gustella Hoskin and son in law Jack Bledsoe
