To Shawn, Mrs. Laura, Kizzie and family: Sometimes in life, things happen that we have no control over. And yet I wish that the outcome was different. However, we loved Papa but God loved him more and was prepared for him to come home. And though his journey has ended here on earth, we must all remember all the principles and values he taught us and use them to help us in our everyday life. For he was truly a man of God, a good husband, father, friend and teacher. I am glad to have known Papa. You all have my deepest sympathy and you are in my prayers. Love, Ellis
