Dennis Lee Wallace, affectionately known as “Jimbo” and “Buck Wallace”, son of Lorenzo Wallace and Jewel Turner, was born in Waller, Texas on August 29, 1966. He entered into eternal rest on August 19, 2022.
Dennis was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was a very respectable and family-oriented man. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 26 years, Precious Wallace, who he loved with all his heart. He was also a tremendous father to his four daughters and the best they could have ever asked for as they now live with a shaped hole in their hearts.
If Dennis liked you, he loved you, and made you feel like an authentic part of his family. To know him was to love a man of many talents. Anything he touched was a work of art. He was a hardworking, humorous man, and to be in his presence was an honor and privilege. Dennis was so very loved and will be deeply cherished. His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him.
Dennis served in the U.S. Airforce, where he later retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 26 years of faithful service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Precious M. Wallace; his daughters Tameiqua S. Harris (Anthony) of Gloster, LA, Brittany C. Davis (Dallas, TX), Tekeia M. Wallace (FT Bliss, TX), and Kamaria R. Wallace (San Antonio, TX); his grandchildren Jayla A. Melvin (Dallas, TX), Malachi J. Walker (Sacramento, CA), and Jamari Melvin (Cheyenne, WY); his parents Lorenzo Wallace and Jewel V. Wallace (Belleville, TX); his sister Betty L. Phillips (Belleville, TX); his twin brothers: Lindsay L. McFarland (VA Beach) and Lorenzo L. McFarland (Bellville, TX); a devoted son in law Eric L. I love you Dennis (Buford)…❤️❤️
My condolences 💐 to his family and friends and may have Rest In Paradise.Rest Easy my friend
I have only been working with Mr. DW the last few months but man I feel like I have known him and the family my entire life. No matter what mood I was in he could bring a smile to my face and never failed to ask about my babies. Every time I’d go to the office to help him with things we would sit there and just talk about the family, traveling, he’d mentor me and preach to just stay in and retire then always told me I had a spot in his office after retirement. Always telling me life is too short and not to sweat the small stuff. He’s truly a man who lived by his words.
I just hope you guys know he adored each and everyone of you and couldn’t have asked for a more fulfilled life.
Rest easy Mr. DW, we all got it from here. I’m so glad I got to see you and find out my nickname that Thursday! Double M, Mighty Mouse will stick. You will never be forgotten!
Our condolences & deepest sympathy to Wallace family.
I will miss our calls and laughs.
