Destiny Cecille "Halona" Nichols

Destiny Cecille Nichols was born October 13, 1986 and went to be with the lord of October 19, 2016 at the age of 30. Destiny was a gifted student who graduated in 2005 from East Central High School in the top 1% of her class. She was in the high school band playing the saxophone just like her father and great-grandfather. She studied at the University of Texas at Austin and also at the University of Texas in San Antonio completing her studies with a degree in liberal arts. Destiny loved her family very much and she always expressed her feelings. She always had time for everyone else when they had problems even though at times she may have been dealing with problems of her own. She was also avid bowler, ballerina, tap dancer, softball player and jewelry maker. She also loved animals very much. Destiny will be missed so very much by all who knew and loved her but never forgotten. Rest in peace Angel. Farewell princess until we meet again. Destiny is preceded in death by her grandparents, Benjamin Carver Nichols and Claudia Nichols. She is survived by her parents, Craig Randell (Randy) Nichols and Pamela Jean (Jeanie) Nichols. Grandparents, Charles H. (Pete) Klaus and Lucille (Lucy) Emanuel Klaus. Aunt, Deborah Lynn (Debbie) Webb and husband Winford. Uncles, Daniel Nichols and Darin Wade Nichols. Aunt, Kathryn Marie (Kathy) Recker and husband Brett. Son, Damian N. Kalka First cousins, Robert David Luce and wife Claudia. Christine Marie (Tina) Teach and husband David. Joshua James Nichols, Amanda Marie Luce and Alexander Garrett (Alex) Nichols. Loving boyfriend Mark Dwayne (Biggie) Eddington and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11am both at Meadowlawn Funeral Home. Fellowship following the service at Brookhill Baptist Church.
