Dolores Rodriguez Tello

Dolores Rodriguez Tello peacefully joined her Savior on June 14, 2023, at the age of 87. She was born in San Antonio, TX on March 11, 1936, to Jose and Consuelo Rodriguez and was the eldest of the ten siblings.
Dolores attended Sidney Lanier High School and was a drum majorette. As a scholarly educator, she earned two Masters of Arts in Teaching thereby specializing in elementary and bilingual education for over 20 years that included a role as a community and adult education director. She enjoyed dancing to music, playing tennis and swimming.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, and sons: Julian A. Tello Jr. and Stephan R. Tello and brothers: Joe, Michael and Charles Rodriguez and sisters: Consuelo R. Palacio and Teresa R. Shafran.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia T. Alvarado and Juan A. Alvarado (son-in-law) and granddaughters Cassandra and Alyssa Alvarado; and grandson Lawrence Y. Tello (Julian A Tello Jr.’s son) and daughter-in-law Ching Tello of Fremont, California; and her sisters: Mary Dodd (Stanley), Alberta R. Cruz and Linda R. Gonzales and her brother Juan Rodriguez (Josie).
