Donald W. "Turkey" Wilson

On January 27, 1955, Donald Wayne Wilson affectionately called "Turkey" was born to the union of Henry Wilson, Jr. and Auguster Barnes-Wilson in San Antonio, Texas Turkey attended schools in the San Antonio Independent School District. As he began his life's journey he worked for the City of San Antonio. In 1979 he met Brenda Grinage and to this union two children were born, daughter, Dontranay Wilson(deceased) and son, Donald Wayne Grinage known as Ikey. Donald then began his career working at St. Mary's University in January 1992 until his health began to decline in 2012. On February 1, 2013 Donald was called home to be with his Heavenly Father. May there be comfort knowing he is at rest. He was preceded in death by his father, Hurley Wilson, Jr., daughter, Dontranay Wilson, rother, Glenn D. Wilson and sister, Linda Wilson Caldwell. Donald leaves to cherish his memory, his son Donald Wayne Grinage(Ebony); special friend, Janice Hurd; his mother, Auguster Barnes-Anderson; sisters, Loretta Wilson, Latrice Peavy of San Diego, Ca.; brothers, Tony Anderson (Kotisha), Harold Wilson and James Wilson of San Diego, Ca.,. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his granchildren, Keontrae Grinage, Shandon Aranise Cole, Demauriae Grinage, Dontranay Grinage, Demaurius Sheppard, Ikeice Grinage, Donald Grinage, Jr.(L.I.); step-children, Anthony Grinage, Jamel Hurd, Charles Hurd and Vernon Hurd; step-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and other relatives and many firends; special sister-in-law, Dora L. Ellison and special friends, Berto Johnson, Willie Kelly and Kip Love.
