Donella Kowalczyke

Donella M. Kowalczyke, 76, passed away July 17, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. Donella was born October 30, 1946 in Escondido, California to Billie and Betty Wade. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always enjoyed making arts and crafts with her grandkids and spending time with them as much as she could. She had several sewing machines and enjoyed making quilts and Halloween costumes for her children. When she had the chance to relax, Donella enjoyed spending time in her sunroom surrounded by her beautiful plants and flowers. Her loving spirit will be dearly missed by her family and close friends.

Donella is preceded in death by her husband, David Kowalczyke; son, David Kowalczyke Jr.; grandson, Christopher Reed and brother, Kevin Wade.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara (Eric) Minor, Bonnie (Theron) Reed and Beverly (Andrew) Preciado; grandchildren, Crystal Schatz, Amber Ortiz, Marcus Ortiz, Ashley Colglazier, Nicole Kowalczyke, Corey Kowalczyke and Krista Minor; sister, Lestel Hocking; five great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
