Guestbook

  1. CandleImageI will truely miss you Mom. You are still my best friend. I am happy to know that the pain you were in is now lifted and you are at peace.

  2. Rest in peace Aunt Doris. Never had the chance to meet again since I was a little girl when you left your beloved Scotland to make your new life in America. Loving thoughts to the family from Linda (Edith & John Burnside’s) daughter 💕

  3. CandleImageNana was the best great grandmother I could have she was a strong and powerful woman even when she started aging she still stayed strong I love you nana and now you’re in a better place.

  4. CandleImageHow many cups of tea did we share together – you, me, and Karen? You were THAT mom, whether you knew it or not – never minding crazy teenagers sitting at your dinner table. Every time I make a cup of tea, I think of you! Making tea the right way, the way you showed me. Some might think that is a silly memory but it isn’t to me. It reminds me that while we may meet many people in our lives, only the very few leave an imprint on our heart. You definitely left an imprint. Rest easy now, Doris, in the hands of our Lord – dancing with the angels and having a cuppa.

  5. CandleImageI remember her friendly voice on the phone when she assisted staff at SwRI making long distance calls, including the difficult ones to other countries. She was sorely missed after they automated our system and we all felt so alone without her there holding our hands. May she Rise in Glory and Rest in Peace
