Earline Coleman Scallion

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2022 at the young age of 84 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to the union of James Coleman and Carrie Boyd on December 23, 1937 in Seguin, Texas.

Earline was a faithful servant who believed in her Lord Savior. She was one to ensure she put God as the head of her life.

Earline graduated from Ball high school in 1954 in Seguin, Texas. She met and married the love of her life, Willie Ray Scallion Sr., where the two joined as a union on 1958. Their marriage was a reflection of true love. After sharing a blissful marriage of 41 years, Willie departed her life on October 30, 1999.

As a loving wife and mother, Earline devoted her life to gracefully raising a family of her own, as well as welcomed anyone in need with open arms. She consistently provided her tender love, prepared hot meals, and gave her unconditional support; leaving a spark of her delicate legacy in each of the lives she impacted daily.

In her spare time, Earline enjoyed going fishing, playing bingo, and visiting many Casinos with her daughter-in-law: Shetina.

Earline will be forever remembered and cherished in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie Ray Scallion Sr., and her son: Charles Ray Scallion.

Earline leaves to cherish: her loving children: Willie Ray Scallion Jr. (Sharon), Glen Scallion (Shetina), and Richard Scallion (Linda); grandchildren: Erica Scallion, Keyston Clay, Glen Scallion Jr., James Scallion, Qunesha Scallion, Glen Anthony Scallion, Rayvon Rocco, Cedric Jones, Willie Scallion III, Deonte’ Scallion, Charles Scallion Jr., Tre Scallion, Stephan Henderson; great-grandchildren: Jordan Phelps, Zavian Clay, Adrien Clay, Amina Scallion, Cameron Byers, Demetri Scallion, Jonathan Byrd, Messiah Scallion, Mak’ai Scallion, Desmond Scallion, Khalil Henderson, Harmony Henderson-Renteria, Nyla Henderson-Kelly; and numerous other close relatives and friends.
