Edgar J. Reus, Sr.

edgar reus, sr.
In Christ all men may live again. On this day, July 24, 2017, our kind, gentle, precious Ed departed this earth to live again in a land where there's peace among all men. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Teresa Reus. Everyone that had the privilege of knowing Ed, enjoyed his humor, his brave battle with many life's storms of illness always with a a smile and ever so generous with helping others. He enjoyed the simple things in live, especially anything western; his favorite collection being John Wayne. Ed is survived by his darling wife, Annette; daughter, Brenda Dyson and son, Eddie Reus, Jr. Ed cherished the beautiful friendship of family, friends, and the Wellmed Medical Team of doctors, physician's assistants and associates; especially at Greenway Park. Each of you were a special gift to his life. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Thrivewell Cancer Foundation.

  1. Ed had a very gentle soul. I met him at one of my first jobs when I was twenty years old (now63). We worked together and even though he was my boss he was our friend first. He eventually hired my five brother-in-laws and my wife’s step father to Howard Campbell Co. Ed and his wife Annette were kind and helpful to everyone. I used to tell jokes to Ed and one day I told him a good one that he could not stop laughing. And after all this years he remained our friend. Annette will continue to be our friend. Ed will be truly missed here. He will be with God praising Him.
