Edna Earle Clement (née Parris), age 85, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on January 25, 1941, from Mount Olive, Alabama, Edna lived a life filled with faith, love, and devotion.
Edna was a beloved wife to her husband, James H. Clement. Together they built a life rooted in love and shared values. She was the proud mother of Karen Brazzell and her husband Johnny, as well as Christopher Clement. Her legacy lives on through her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Edna is now reunited in eternal rest with her son Gregory Clement; her parents Eddie and Vera Parris; her brother Roger Parris; and her sister Revis Sanders.
As a dedicated military spouse, Edna supported her family through the unique challenges and sacrifices of military life with unwavering strength and grace. Her steadfast faith guided her throughout her journey, and she was a cherished member of the Southeast Church of Christ community. Her deep connection to God was evident in every aspect of her life.
Edna had a vibrant spirit that touched everyone she met. She loved spending time with her family and found great comfort in the companionship of her cherished pets. Known for her humor and zest for life, she had an extraordinary ability to brighten someone’s day with a kind word or gesture. She never missed an opportunity to stop and smell the roses—both literally and figuratively—finding beauty in the world around her.
Edna has been called home to be with her Maker, Lord God Almighty. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew and loved her.
