Elida “Ellie” Walters lived a life full of Love for 100 years. Born in San Antonio and a graduate of Breckenridge High School in 1942. She was proud that she worked for the Civil Service and assisted Veterans in their retirement process.
Ellie loved to jitter bug and her mother always said she would marry a man that doesn’t dance. And sure enough she married her loving husband, John, who didn’t find as much joy in dancing as she did. But that never stopped her from dancing or loving him fiercely.
Ellie and John moved to Wisconsin in their retirement years. They also enjoyed time traveling in their RV, before settling in Las Vegas for awhile and then coming back to San Antonio to live out their long lives
Ellie enjoyed raising canaries, doing puzzles, cooking and teaching us all how to make tortillas
