Elizabeth Christine Shurley, 37, died suddenly during the night on Sunday, March 27, 2016. She lived in San Antonio for the past 11 years, and before she lived in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born on March 20, 1979 in McAlester, Oklahoma and is survived by her husband Johnathon Shurley, daughter Lani Elizabeth Taylor, her mother Nancy Jeanette House, her father Jimmie Dale Woolly, numerous family members in Oklahoma, and friends. Elizabeth is described by family and friends as caring, compassionate, generous, funny, determined, supportive, loving, and strong-willed. She will be missed but never forgotten. Memorial and gathering of friends and family will be held April 5, 2016, at 3 PM, in the MeadowLawn Chapel to celebrate and remember Elizabeth fondly.

John and Lani, Elizabeth’s family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Elizabeth on the island. She was always so sweet and friendly. I could see the great love she had for John and her family. I adored Elizabeth and am very sad to hear of her passing. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
