Elizabeth Lowery

Elizabeth Lowery, age 96, of San Antonio, was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ on November 28, 2007. She was a devoted Christian, a most loving and respected wife, mother, grandmother, and will be missed by all. Elizabeth was born on July 9, 1911 in Winnsboro, TX to G. W. and Kate Wooten. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis K. Lowery; brother, Griffin Wooten; sisters, Marcelle Daniels, and Marjory George. She is survived by her son, Stanley George & wife, Rexann; grandchildren, Christine Buchholz & husband Tim; Eric George and wife Karen; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 1:30 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with the Rev. K.T. DeVries officiating.
