Guestbook
On behalf of the all of the Wawrzyniak family we are deeply saddened and will greatly miss Mrs. Marr. As her neighbors our hearts and minds will always remember the friendly waves of hello from across our backyards. It was also a wonderful pleasure to be in her presence as she would visit us. We admired her love and care she shared with gardening and enjoyed the precious flowers that bloomed with love in return. She will forever be in our hearts, we can only imagine that she would bring as much beauty into heaven as she did here on earth.
We spent many happy times at Aunt Elizabeth’s house while we were growing up. It was wonderful to have family nearby, and I will always cherish the memories of times spent together.
Elizabeth is my grandmother. She was very good to me. She taught through example on how to be a good person. We used to go bowling after church when I was a kid. We had a great time. We played cards, Uno and board games. She used to make me take a bath every night when I stayed over. I didn’t understand. She took me on my first Via bus ride. Some creep sat next to her and she went off on him. He moved. She always held high expectations for me. I did not understand her expectations until after my kids were born. I have her high expectations held to my children now. Gram was very independant. You could try to help her in her later years but she did not need it and told you so. My Aunt Betty had a great chore trying to help Gram. God took her Wednesday. Gram’s work was done here on earth. I am sure God needed some help or something up in Heaven. Gram always helped others. She made meals. She was an exceptional cook. She drove folks to the store or doctor or church. She served her community. She was very charitable and a lot of organizations and people were graced with her time, talent, and love. I love you Gram.
Although I did not know her,I wanted to send my condolences to the family. May the Lord bless you and keep you in this time of sorrow. I shall keep you in my prayers.
Betty, We are so sorry to hear about the death of your mother. From what we can remember she was a lovely lady. You are in our prayers. Your friendship has always meant a lot to us and we have missed you. Eileen was curious about your mother being born in Medina county and has done her family tree on her ancestors from Alsace and Medina county. She looked up the “Rudinger” name and your mother’s parents and you are both descendents of Michael Zurcher, and are 4th cousins once removed. Can you believe that? All these years we’ve been related and didn’t even know it. Give us a call or an e-mail, and Eileen will fill you in on how she found this information. We’re in the phone book, same address for 38 years! Love, Eileen and Rick Pape
I have known Mrs. Marr for many years. I am very happy that I had an occasion not to long ago to talk to her at the Polish sisters chapel on Beethovan St. when she attended Mass there.I was sad to hear about Mrs. Marr. She was a wonderful person. I send my deepest regrets and prayers to all of her family because I know that you will miss her deeply.
