Ellen Ann George, of Boerne, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Cibolo Creek Nursing Home. Ann was 84 years old. Ann was born in Tazewell, Virginia on August 03, 1931 to Walter and Virgie Boothe.
Ellen was known as Ann to everyone that knew her. Ann is survived by her daughter Karen L. George-Mc Owen and son-in-law, Shawn Mc Owen. A sister Nancy Sparks of Virginia and brother James (Jimmy) Boothe and wife Edna of Pfaffatown, North Carolina. Sister-in-laws Phyllis George and Marilyn George of San Antonio, Texas. Along with several nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Albert Robert George, daughter Linda Ann George. Her parents Walter and Virgie Boothe. Brothers: George, Jack, Bobby, Samuel and Bill Boothe. A sister Alice Boothe White.
Ann will be missed greatly by several family and friends. She loved cooking and playing board and card games. While in the nursing home she loved playing bingo and bunco along with doing word search puzzles. Ann loved going fishing with family and friends to Lake Amistad in Del-Rio, Texas. She loved entertaining at home to family and friends.
The family would like to thank Cibolo Creek Nursing Home staff and the staff at Alamo Hospice for their support during Ann's passing.

Dearest Karen and Shawn,
Karen I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom, I know how hard it is, but know that she is pain free and in HIS loving arms. She is reunited with your Dad and Linda and we will see her once again, I will always remember that sweet smile that was always on her face :-). She will surely be missed by many. Please let us know if we can do anything for you, our thoughts and Prayers are with you now and always~
