Euralene "Precious" Walker
September 2, 1965 ~ March 3, 2024
Born in:
San Antonio, Texas
Resided in:
San Antonio, Texas
Our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, Euralene Walker, affectionately known as “Precious,” entered eternal rest on the 3rd day of March in San Antonio, Texas. Euralene was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 2, 1965, to parents: Eural Walker Sr. and Ruth L. Goode.
Euralene accepted and professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She received her formal education in the San Antonio Independent School District and graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1984. She entered the workforce as a Home Health Aide, but thereafter she began babysitting and braiding hair so she could be home with her children. She worked hard and enjoyed her life.
Euralene raised three boys and due to the eldest son Cardell’s unexpected death she was raising her three grandchildren two boys and a girl. She loved each of them with all her heart. Her greatest blessing in life was her family, and being a loving mother and grandmother. She also played a role in the lives of other children, family and friends by opening her door and letting them in as if they were her very own.
She was a caring, generous, kind and loving person with a smile and laughter that radiated through her entire being. Never one to judge, Precious was always there to impart some wisdom and give you her best advice. Her kindness was a constant in her life and she found the company of others a delight. She always thought of others and was never known to dwell on the negative or complain. She stayed optimistic.
In her spare time, she would always look forward to watching either a game of the San Antonio Spurs or the Dallas Cowboys. She often enjoyed listening to music.
Euralene is preceded in death by her parents; Eural Walker Sr. and Ruth L Walker; sister, Verdine Walker, and brother, Larry Goode and son, Cardell Walker.
She leaves to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy, her children, Quindell Walker (Isabel) and Rondell Walker (Denise); her grandchildren, La’Rontee Walker, Ta’Vontee Walker, and Zadell Walker; brother, Eural Walker Jr. and sister, Evonn Walker – Nolden (John); special niece, Vangie Quezada (Jay) and goddaughter, Lisa Eason and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Euralene will be remembered for her candid personality, high spirits and unwavering love for others. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Walker family was the community village; a safe space to leave your children. Thanks to the family for watching my little one (Brittany) as I sought employment. May the love, peace, and strength of God rest with you as grieve the transition of my classmate, Precious.
