April 29, 1972 ~ February 16, 2025

Born in: San Antonio, Texas
Resided in: San Antonio, Texas

Eva Gallegos, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born to Adan Puente and Patsy Guajardo on April 29, 1972, Eva lived a life that exemplified love, faith, and dedication.

Eva was a hard-working and determined woman who spent over 15 years working with University Health. With aspirations to be an entrepreneur, she decided to put her craftsmanship to work by recently starting her own business “She is Clothed…by Eva” where she created custom faith based apparel. Her work ethic was matched only by her faith, as she was a committed Christian who deeply believed in God, family, and country. Eva was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband, Adrian Gallegos, with whom she shared 26 years of marriage.

Eva’s greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Stephen Dominguez, Adriana (Charles) Guzman, Alexis (Codey) Martinez, and Angelina Gallegos. She leaves behind a large and loving family, including her father and stepmother, Dennis and Adela Rendon; mother, Patsy Guajardo; 15 grandchildren: Jennalee, Nayelli, Azalea, Benjamin, Ezekiel, Ariana, Ashton, Alijah, Azaiah, Ailani, Christian, Isabella, Chazair, Jaylin, and Adrian Jr.; siblings, Jennifer Solis her baby sister who she held dear to her heart as closely as a daughter; 2 older sisters, Barbara and Marie; 6 brothers, Tommy, Dennis, Ruben, Adam, Moses and Joe. She also leaves behind her Brother & Sister in Christ Mike & Cathy Picconi, whose friendship she cherished for over 20 years.

Though her life was tragically shortened, Eva’s impact on her family and community will never be forgotten. She believed deeply in serving the Lord and shared that love with everyone around her. Her life was filled with family gatherings, laughter, and adventures. Eva traveled to breathtaking places such as Niagara Falls and the Rocky Mountains with her beloved husband, Adrian, and cherished those experiences in her heart.

Eva was a woman who loved nature, cherished her health, and enjoyed eating fruit. Above all, she loved her family fiercely and ensured that they shared her faith in God. She was preceded in death by her father, Adan Puente, and her son, Adrian Gallegos Jr.

Eva will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Rest in peace, Eva. Until we meet again. You will forever be in our hearts.

  4. Heavenly Father,

In the quiet moments of heartache, where the silence whispers the name of our dearly departed, we come before You seeking solace. Lord, wrap us in Your comforting embrace, and with Your tender mercy, illuminate the cherished memories we hold dear.

Guide our hearts to recall the laughter, the love, and the life shared, finding in each memory a fragment of Your divine joy. Let these precious moments be like rays of Your eternal light, piercing through the veil of our grief, and warming the chill of absence with the gentle assurance of Your love.

Grant us, O Lord, the grace to celebrate the life lived, not just mourn the loss endured. In the recalling of these stories, shared meals, and unspoken bonds, may we feel the presence of our loved one among us, comforted by the thought that in You, no love is ever lost, and all souls find peace.

We trust in Your promise of eternal life, believing that in Your kingdom, we shall once again embrace. Until that day, let the cherished memories of our loved one be a testament to Your enduring love and the hope of reunion that faith in Christ brings. Amen.
