Exie Waldrop
January 3, 1920 ~ November 13, 2004
Born to Exie M and Noah Cleveland January 3rd, 1920 in San Antonio.
Exie Vivone (Vi) Waldrop passed from this life peacefully at home in La Porte, TX., at the age of 84 years 10 months and 10 days. Vi was preceded in death by her husband Tracy, daughter Dixie Lee Richardson and son Ned C. Waldie. She is survived by daughters, Sherry Zost of San Antonio, Tracey Sue Higgins (Charlie) of Kerrville, Pearl Fay Burkhart (Joe) of La Porte, and son Robert L.Waldie of California. Numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren also survive. Special family friend Arnold Zost and several close friends survive as well.
Vi loved to cross stitch and do all sorts of crafts. She was also an avid reader and liked to watch the cooking shows on television and listen to country music.
The family wishes to thank the Hospice Care Team of Texas City for all the help in her final hours. It really meant alot. Special thanks to Jo and Kim Amador for being so kind and helpful. Bless You. Mama, we love you and miss you.

Dear Susie, Sherry and Faye, I will pray for you in your time of sadness. Some of my earliest memories are of your mother and daddy. Tracy was my dad’s dearest friend and I thought the world of him and your mother. Your mother’s passing is truely the end of an era. But you will be with your mom and dad again. I’m glad we were able to visit with your mother, Faye, briefly last spring. It meant a lot to me and I hope she enjoyed the visit as well. I’m just sorry that there will be no future visits with her, but can hope for future visits with you and Joe. Cleve & Shirley Cleveland.
