Floyd Robert Richardson Sr.

Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Floyd Robert Richardson Sr., gained his heavenly wings on December 23, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Benny Henry and Virgie Rainey on February 5, 1931 in La Vernia, Texas.

Floyd was a loving father and devoted husband. He met and married his first wife, Essie Daisy Richardson, and they shared a union of 40 years until her departure. He later remarried his second wife, Geraldine Richardson, where the two shared a union of 20 years together.

Floyd was also a proud veteran, who served 2 years in the United States Army. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Floyd was greeted in heaven by his parents, his first wife, Essie Daisy Richardson, and second wife, Geraldine Richardson.

He is survived by his children: Lynda Pearl Richardson (Humberto Montemayor), Darryl Richardson, Sylvia Lynn Richardson, Virginia LaNelle Richardson, and Lisa Michelle Richardson, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many other close relatives and friends.
