Frances G. Gonzalez, age 84, passed away April 11, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Known as "Panchita" by her siblings Frances had a good sense of humor. She was very funny and made a lot of people laugh. She was generous, kind, and caring to all. Frances loved yard work, loved music, and was a very good dancer; she will be missed by many. Frances is preceded in death by her husband Santos Gonzales; Daughters Anna Maria and Graciela Gonzales. She is survived by her Daughters: Frances Rodriguez, Sylvia Chavez, and Yolanda Gomez; Sons: George Gonzales and Gilbert Gonzales. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held at the Meadowlawn Tribute Center, Sunday, April 14, 2013, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Monday, April 15, 2013, 10:00 am at St. Vincent De Paul's Catholic Church. To leave a note for the family please visit www.meadowlawn.net , obituaries.

Always ready with a good joke just to make you smile, even if 5 minutes ago smiling was the last thing on your mind. I will always Love & Miss you Grandma, but I can now say I have peace of mind knowing you are with Grandpa watching over all of us, until we meet again.

    Dear grandma the first thing that comes to mind is I LOVE YOU AND GRANDPA SO MUCH it hurts you knew me as the little rascal cuz i always wore a hat, you loved play fighting with me, you told me i was the cutest out of ALL ur grandkids ( sorry yall but its true lol ) but grandma theres 1 thing i will never forget when you told grandpa to get you something sour and grandpa picked his nose and gave you a booger and said ” HERE YOU GO MY LOVE ” and you screamed “COCHINO” me and geoffrey started laughing lol!! Grandma when you first got sick and lost your memory I CRIED but what i didnt relize was that my memories were good enough! I LOVE AND MISS YOU BOTH AND HOPE ONE DAY THAT ME AND MYRA CAN BE JUST LIKE YOU AND GRANDPA!! P.S. months before grandpa passed he told me and geoff ” LOOK AT THAT PICTURE OF YOUR GRANDMA WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG, SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVED HER FROM THE START!”
