Frank Bartlett was a true friend of our family since before I was born. Frank (Mr. Bartlett to us kids) was one of the key figures in our daily and weekly lives all the years as we grew up. I first met Frank through daddy, Harvey Ray Newman, through ATT Southwestern Bell, and seeing him in his big scoop truck, at the warehouse on Montrose, at the old Highland Hills Pharmacy with the other phonemen, or when he’d honk at us on the street with that big truck horn. Always, Frank Bartlett brought love and joy into our lives. There never was a single time I got to see him somewhere that he didn’t have a joke for me to laugh about. He was this way his whole life and even throughout his last years where I with him as a Lion. What a wonderful, kind, loving man. I have to say it like this, Remember Frank Bartlett? Mr. Bartlett is someone you don’t have to ever try to remember because he’s one of the rare persons you can never forget. In our hearts and minds always, we love you so much, Mr. Bartlett.
