Frank M. Fabela, born April 29, 1944 in Alma, Michigan embraced God on December 30, 2013. He now joins his father, Silbiano Fabela and sister Candelaria Trevino. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Fabela, and sisters, Velia Mesa, Leonor Tirado (Mario Tirado), Delfina Martinez (Fernando Martinez), Juanita Diaz (Carlos Diaz), Yolanda Pena (Johnny Pena) and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank will be greatly missed by family and friends. SERVICES Visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be on Saturday, January 4, 2014 for a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedicts Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery.

My selfishness had me second guessing the choices we made as far as medical care for you. I kept thinking that we should be doing more but I know now that we were fighting a losing battle and anything more would just prolong your suffering. The peacefulness that came over you when God called you home gave me some comfort knowing that you are now in a better place and no longer hurting. May you rest in peace, my loving uncle. I love you and miss you with all my heart!
