Frank Williams Sr.

Frank Williams Sr. passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on September 16, 2023. He was born July 23, 1934 in Gillett, Texas to Homer Williams and Lola Mae Eli.

Frank was a family man. He loved his family. Frank spent many years working for the city. As a young man and throughout his life, Frank was an avid fisherman. He loved fishing any opportunity he had. He also enjoyed travelling to casinos, playing his dominos and smoking out of his pipe while listening to some Blues music and bar-b-queuing with his son-n-law Tracy. Frank had a passion in cutting grass with his granddaughter before getting ill. His sense of humor and memory will be dearly missed by his family and dear friends.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lola Williams; his beloved wife, Hannah Williams; children, Homer Williams and Mattie Williams; grandson, William Robinson and siblings.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory ; his children, Beverly Neal, Frank (Caroline) Williams Jr., Nola Robinson, Edna Williams, David (Rochelle) Williams, Patricia (Morris) Green; sister, Cibil Williams; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
