Frederick (Ted) Gentner, 78, passed away Saturday, Nov.18th, in San Antonio, TX. Born Sept. 8, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA. to Frederick and Rose Luke Gentner, Ted worked as a security officer most of his career for the City of Philadelphia and he was a longtime member of the Overbrook Presbyterian Church . He is survived by his mother, Rose Gentner, of Williamstown, NJ; brother, Arnold Gentner and wife, Denajean, of Selinsgrove, PA; sister, Marie Kuch and husband, William, of Williamstown, NJ; five nieces and three nephews.   4. I will greatly miss my very kind Uncle Ted. I remember many Christmas’s when He brought us the best gift for his 4 girls. Always welcoming anyone to his home with an open heart was his style. He taught me how to strip a wood floor and made me the best imported grilled cheese sandwich ever!It was a special day just, Uncle Ted and me. I loved you Uncle Ted.   10. I am sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. As partner to my brother Steve for 26 years, he was a very large part of my life. I loved him as a brother. He will be missed.

  11. Ted was a great , very kind , understanding and warm person. I stayed in his garage for a long time before he moved to TX. He hosted many students in his house for many years. He was like a father to them all. He has been loved and respected. I hope he has been welcomed to the heaven . We will never forget about him.
