Gail Elizabeth Anderson

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, Gail Elizabeth Anderson, peacefully entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the age of 74 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on July 2, 1949 to Bertha Harris in Harlem, New York.

Gail met and married the love of her life, Angelo Anderson, and the two shared a wonderful union of over 20 years together.

Aside from being a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and aunt, Gail, enjoyed watching her favorite television shows and eating a slice of delicious cheesecake. She will be remembered for her nurturing love, giving spirit, and kind heart. Her absence is deeply felt, and she will be truly missed by those who were dear to her.

Gail was greeted in heaven by her parents, her children: Stephanie Evans-Shelby, Jamies “Bubby” E. Evans Jr.

She leaves behind her legacy to her beloved husband, Angelo Anderson, her bonus daughter (niece) Ty-Asia “Ty” Powell (Devan); step-daughters: Neochie and Keisha, three grandchildren, great-grandchildren; her siblings: Allen, Darlene “Princess,” and Roslyn; and numerous other close relatives and friends.
