Gary Roy Thompson

Gary Roy Thompson, 59, left this world to be with his Maker, Monday, July, 13th, 2009. The son of Lacy and Roycelene Thompson, Gary was born Feb.14th, 1950 in San Antonio. He graduated from Highlands High School in 1968. Gary worked most of his life as a computer programmer. His mother preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Beverly, step-son Chris Pike and step-daughter April Gest. Additional survivors include his father, Lacy Thompson, brother James Thompson and his wife Denise, two sisters, Glee Bierestedt and her husband, Don and Joy Hunter. Several nieces, nephews and a host of many friends also survive. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 21st at Baptist Temple, 901 E. Drexel.
