Gayla Devonne Weaks was born in San Antonio, Texas January 18, 1968 to loving parents Robert Joe and Marcene Clemons Weaks. She passed away to be with the Lord March 5, 2024 at the age of fifty-six.

Gayla was nothing short of an extraordinary Daughter, Sister, and Aunt. She could often be found with her nose in a book, as she was very fond of reading. Left behind to cherish her memory is her mother Marcene Weaks, as well as her brother Steven Weaks and a host of many family and friends.

Gayla leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be missed dearly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
