Gene "Gino" Perales

Gene Perales, lovingly known as “Gino”, passed away January 20, 2024. He was born April 27, 1974 in San Antonio, Texas to Flavio and Natividad Perales. In earlier years, Gino worked as a tire technician and enjoyed tinkering with auto mechanic stuff. He was always there for his friends and family to help them do stuff around the house or with their vehicles. Gino enjoyed cooking, eating and of course, listening to music. He will be dearly missed by his family and all those whom became lifelong friends. Gino is preceded in death by his parents, Flavio and Natividad, and nephew, Jacob Perales.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Rodriguez; sons, Gene Perales Jr., Jeremiah Perales, and Josiah Perales; stepdaughter, Aaliyah Rodriguez; siblings, Frank (Evelyn) Perales, Mark (Crystal) Perales, John (Debbie)Perales, Paul (Brenda) Perales, and Dave (Rose) Perales; his nieces Renee Rodriguez, Skylar Perales, Jaelyn Perales, Audrina Perales, Eliana Perales, Lucia Isabel Perales, Jelena Jae Perales, Serana Rose Perales, Annalise Perales; nephews, Frank Perales Jr, Deigo Perales, Frankie Perales 3rd, Jaysen Perales, Erik Perales, John Perales Jr., Mark Angel Perales, Alfred Aguirre; great-nephew, Noah Angel Perales, along with extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Gino.
