Gene Vincent Suarez was born June 3, 1976 in San Antonio, Texas. He entered eternal rest in San Antonio, January 20, 2018. Gene is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Suarez Sr.; brother, Gilbert Suarez Jr.(Mary Ann); and nephew, Bernardo Lira Jr. Gene is survived by his children, Elexis Carrera (Brandon), Ashley Lailson, Gene Vincent Suarez Jr., Sarah Mischelle Suarez; Siblings, Mary Lou Hernandez (Marcelino), Gary Suarez, Mary Louise Suarez (John Garcia), Maggie Saldana (Armando), Margie Basilio (Francisco), Mary Helen Rodriguez (Patrick), Precious Huerta (Fernando); mother, Minerva Torres; grandchildren, Brayden and Everly Carrera, with numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Gene that memory of the sunflowers will always be in my heart and I will always continue to crack Up with it , Running through the monte and some how U came out with all over U But Because those Sunflowers reminded me of U oh so much there was never a dull moment with U … when U walked in somewhere U could light up that room anytime with ur Presence ,God Made u a special person that got along with anyone & everyone…so Save a place for Me right next to U cuz I kno I’ll be there soon, so when my time comes I Kno I’ll be with U doing some fun & crazy things together…. so my Beautiful sunflower be patient till I get there ! Hey Gino Boy! I just had a dream of you! Damn cuzn I still can’t believe your gone but not forgotten of course. I can still hear your voice on the phone. You and my dad would be calling me and y’all’d be cracking me up. Well I’m jealous you get to visit your uncle again. Give my daddy a big hug from me and tell him always member our promise. Give everyone a hug for me cuz im sure someday we will all be back together again like the good ol days. Playing kickball in the street and tetherball like we did in California.
