George E. Williams, Jr.

George (Bubba) Williams, age 70, passed away August 5, 2012 at Regency Nursing Home San Antonio, Tx after a long illness. Born October 24, 1941 in San Antonio, Tx, to George and Bernice Williams who both preceded him in death. George leaves to cherish his memory loving and devoted sisters Charles Etta Girdy and Deborah (Robert)Hooper.George graduated from St Peter Claver Academy. He was a member of the high school baseball team and was nicknamed "ChooChoo" because everyone said he ran like a train. In 1962 George was united in holy matrimony to Ruth Lorraine Massey and unto this union 4 daughters were born. He was also the father of 2 sons. He retired from Southern Pacific after 17 years of service due to illness. Survivors include wife Ruth, daughters Adrienne (John L.)Leon, Sharron, Rhertta and Carolyn. Sons Otis and Donald Wayne. 2 loving and devoted sisters Charles Etta Girdy and Deborah (Robert) Hooper.He also leaves12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
