George W. Talbot

George W. Talbot, 72, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He was born April 12, 1941 in Fort Benning, GA. to parents Dorothy and Ralph Talbot III. George worked for H&R Block for 36 years as an enrolled agent for 30 years. He enjoyed playing bridge and received his Life Master Status. George is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Robert Talbot. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann Talbot; son, George W. Talbot Jr., daughter, Michele Talbot and husband Robert Monsalvo; and step son, Charles Bartels; brother, Ralph Talbot IV. and wife Betty; grandchildren, Olivia and Alexander Monsalvo and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held 11:15 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. There will be a gathering at Highland Park Lutheran Church, 705 Hammond Ave., San Antonio, TX directly following the service.
