Henry O. Holland, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many, went home to be with The Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 6th, 2005 at the age of 49 years after a long illness. He was born on May 15th, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Philmore Holland Sr. and Corene Stiles Holland. At an early age, he accepted Christ and was baptized at Little Flower Church. Henry graduated from Brackenridge High School and attended Prairie View A & M University. He is preceded in death by his father, Philmore, Sr., brother, Philmore, Jr., beloved cousin, Ava Mayberry and his longtime love and companion, Rose Jennings. Henry is survived by his mother, Corene S. Holland, brother and sister-in-law, Vaughn and Sonya, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Edward Brown, sister-in-law, Velma Taylor Holland, niece, LaTisa, nephews, Edward Brown, Jr., Barsy Lucal Holland, Allen Dorian Holland, Shawn Jonte McKenzie and Brandon Holland; great nieces, great nephews, aunts and a host of cousins and very close friends; including his caregivers Tammye Polk and Terence Johnson. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10th, 2005 from 5 - 7 P.M. at the Meadowlawn Chapel Tribute Center, 5415 E. Houston St., also called 5415 FM 1346 by our mapquest. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, March 11th at 11 A.M. at True Vision Baptist Church, 5814 Rittiman Plaza, San Antonio, Texas, with the Reverend Charles Wingfield officiating.
