Guestbook
God Bless Ira Patrick Wright and his entire Family. Ira is quite a story. He came to Holy Cross High School on the Westside of San Antonio from St. Peter/St. Joseph Home and quickly made many friends because he was just so easy to get along with. Ira’s early childhood was on the Eastside of San Antonio and through his friendships at Holy Cross became very communicable in Espanol. He had his ups and downs in life but he’d never hurt or harm anyone because of his friendly quiet demeanor, unforgettable smile and a go lucky laugh. Ira’s proudest moment was at Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital when as a volunteer greeter was hired on full-time. Of late he was on dialysis at ALMVAH. When his beloved niece Valerie informed me that Ira was found passed away, sitting on his apartment living room sofa my first thought of what Ira thought.. Was him being tired of treatment, settling on the sofa and waiting for his Maker to reunite him with loved ones precedeing him on our road to Eternal Life. Ira mi amigo Vaya con Dios, until we meet again. Jerry “Squeak” Martinez.
