Our beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, James Elmo Brady, affectionately known as “Moe,” entered eternal rest on the 9th day of March in San Antonio, Texas. He was 69 years of age. James was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 11, 1954 to parents: Francis and Lorraine Brady Sr.
He met his life partner, Mary Williams in 1971. The two shared a long-term relationship, and raised their only son, Elmo James Brady together.
James had a heart and passion for cooking, which led him to work in the field of culinary. He served 23 years with Lanier High School as a Lead Cook. In his spare time, he truly enjoyed cooking for people to show his token of love to others. He also enjoyed traveling to Gonzalez, Texas where many memories were created from picnics, to cookouts, but most importantly, bonding with family.
James’s absence is deeply felt, and his physical presence will be dearly missed.
He was greeted in heaven by his: parents, brothers: Francis B. Brady Jr., and Robert Brady; and his brother-in-law: Dr. Robert Westbrook.
He leaves to cherish in his memory, his only beloved son, Elmo James Brady and life partner, Mary Williams, of 20 years; his brother and sister-in-law: Michael and Linda Brady, and their daughter, Antoinette “Toni” Ashley and her daughters: Jocelyn Heyward and Diamond Ashley; his sister: Mary Ellen Westbrook, and her son Michael James Brady and his sons: Brandon Brady and Tyler Brady, and great-great-nephew: Zaelyn Brady, also her daughter: Camille N. Greenwood and her son, Khalil Walker; The Lee Family, and numerous other close relatives and friends.
