Guestbook
I knew Jim, Dorothea and Craig quite well, as I moved to Del Rio (Laughlin AFB) in 1968 and downtown to Del Rio in 1969. My twin daughters, Lisa and Lori Swinney, really thought a lot of Craig growing up in school. I always appreciated so much the way Jim Hardin would look in on Winnie Lane, the neighbor down the street who was a very dear friend of mine. He was loved by a lot of people. At one time my husband, Gil Stensrud, and his wife lived across the street on Elizabeth and Gil spoke of what good neighbors the Hardins were. Lisa and I send our condolences to your in your loss. May God’s peace be with you. We lost Lori over 6 years ago to cancer, and on Nov. 24, 2006, I lost Gil, so we can relate to the empty space in your hearts. God Bless. Dear Dorthea, Cy & Craig, We were very sorry to hear about Jim. We loved him very much. Our family recalls so many great times with Jim. One time Jim and Dorthea came to Alice, Texas to visit. Jim had a new camera and wanted to take everyone’s picture. So we gathered together, smiled and waited and waited… You see Jim wasn’t too familiar yet with his new camera. When he did finally snap the picture, Jennifer who was very young at the time, clapped and we all busted up laughing. Jim was so precious and he will be dearly missed by all of us. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.
Dear Dorthea, Cy and Craig, Please accept my condolences. I pray for your comfort at this time of loss. Time and memories will take care of the healing. Fondly, Jimmy
Mrs. Hardin, Cy, Craig and Family, I am honored to write in your guest book. Please accept my sympathy and prayers of support for the gaping hole in your heart his sudden passing has brought. I am a friend of Craig and Mary’s but did not hear of Mr Hardin’s passing until 1/16/07. I am no stranger to grief and loss. It is with certainty that God has taken him in, allow His Grace to comfort you as you mourn. Hold fast the loving & happy memories—they will warm your souls and permit the tears you shed to bring you comfort. It all takes time and in time we will all be reunited in Heaven. God bless you all!
