Janet Marie Heisser Gleason was born to Anita and Henry Heisser in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away May 11, 2024 in San Antonio, TX.
She is preceded in death by her siblings; Olive, Ted, Elden, Henry, Doris, Carolyn and her son Mattew. Janet is survived by her children; Stephanie Hamilton, William, Christopher and Emanuel; grandchildren, Eva, Jeanette, Andrea, Erica, Samantha, Lauren, Amanda and Joel; a host of great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She graduated from East High School and Hiram College. Janet was always active in church and school activities. Past president of the PTA at St. Henry’s church and school. Cub scout den mother and school volunteer. Along with her former husband William, a founding member of the Inner City Yacht Club and loved boating and the outdoors and loved being in the Church choir for many years and especially enjoyed traveling to many different places. She kept up with her activities at the Country Club Village Center, her beloved Patio garden, sewing, crafts and knitting baby blankets for the children’s hospital until the end. She had a very rich full life filled with many friends. Being the last one we know she was greeted not only by God but by her loving family.

My Aunt Janet was a short, cute, delight. She truly enjoyed family gatherings and had an infectious laugh. She was always supportive, encouraging, and loving to us. I thank God for her. I pray God’s Love, Peace, and Comfort for her family and friends as they remember the good times! 🙏🏽❤️
