Jean Ann Pamppi Schneider, age 81, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. She was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and bilateral pneumonia. Jean was born in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, on January 20, 1932. She was the third of seven children born to Walter and Minnie Pamppi. She received a Business Degree in Minnesota. After moving to San Antonio, Texas, she worked at Mission Electric (later CED), and was one of the first people to work with computers. She is survived by her children: Roietta Belk, Rhonda and James Harvey, Rita and Richard Hoffmann, and Roger Schneider; seven grandchildren: Billy and Delight Harvey, Leah Schneider, Jason Harvey and his Fianc, Megan Mannel, Justin Hoffmann, Heather and Caleb Johnson, Amanda and Stephen Mannel, and Abigail Belk; five great-grandchildren: Jade, Malek, and Connor Mannel, Aidan and Alafair Johnson, and Cody and Madison Harvey; a host of nieces and nephews as well as her sisters: Marylou Srur, Ellie Schneider, Irene Iverson, and Royetta Wallace. She is welcomed to heaven by her mother, father, brother Joe, and sister Patricia.
