Jerald was born March 7,1959 in Lockhart, Texas to Dewey and Suralia Storey. Both parents proceeded him in death. The family moved to San Antonio early in his life where he accepted Christ and was baptized by the late Rev. J. J. Rector, Sr. at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Jerald attended schools in the San Antonio Independent School District and was a member of Roosevelt High School Class of 1977. He was an avid sports fan who played baseball from childhood through adulthood. A true Dallas Cowboy fan win or lose, that was his team. His chosen profession was a certified forklift operator. He was an all-around nice guy who loved his family and friends. He transitioned peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Thursday night October 14th, 2021. He will forever be in the hearts of his daughters; Jessica M. Springs, husband Naaman Springs and Jalisa M. Storey; grandchildren; Jharlanae M. Storey, Jhayla M. Edwards, Jairus L. Edwards and Ny'Asia T. Springs; brother: James Storey; Jackie Bell, husband William Bell and JoAnn Storey; nephew, Jeffrey Bell; niece, Jahmese Myers and a host of relatives and friends.

  4. Jerald was one of my first patients, when I started as a CNA at Heritage. Had a great time getting to know him, and was surprised that he went to the same High School as my husband.He was a real pleasure to take care of. He will be greatly missed. May He rest in peace.
