friend, gained her heavenly wings on April 1, 2024 at the age of 88. She was born on October 31, 1935 to parents: Edward L. and Dorothy Mae Green in San Antonio, Texas.

JoAnn grew up in the Kinwood area of San Antonio. She attended Sojourner Truth Elementary, Douglas Jr. High, and graduated from Phylliss Wheatley high school in 1955. She later attended St. Phillip’s College, where she studied nursing for two years. After college, JoAnn began a career in the Aviation industry, where she worked at Turbine Support as a linesman for over 25 years until she retired.

JoAnn was a very loving, and generous woman. She loved people, and she didn’t know a stranger. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, shopping, spending time with her family, and her grandsons.

JoAnn will be forever cherished and remembered for her kind heart.

She was greeted in heaven by her parents, her twin sister: Betty Jo Green-Conner, and her brother: Mitchell H. Green III.

She leaves to cherish in her memory: her loving children: Joseph B. Foster, and Cynthia E. Foster-Johnson; five grandsons: Harold Johnson, Tyrone Johnson, Sean Johnson, Christopher Johnson, and Joseph Johnson; 3 great-grandchildren, her brother: Rev. Eddie B. Green, her sisters: Barbara Gardner, and Juliette Green; nieces, nephews, any many other close relatives and friends.
