Our beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, JoAnn Mallow, gained her heavenly wings on February 5, 2023 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born to Olivero Joe Mirelez and Theresa Sebrina Garcia on December 17, 1958 in Memphis, Tennessee.
JoAnn was a loving person, who had the purest heart. She married the love of her life, Paul W. Mallow in 1995, but met five years prior. They shared a beautiful union of 27 years together, while also raising their only son, Mark.
JoAnn was a Godly woman who strongly believed in her faith. She stood strong on the word of the Lord. As a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, she spent countless days and hours serving in her community. JoAnn cherished her St. Paul Lutheran family and loved serving the Lord through its various ministries. With such strong faith, she had the ability to lead many people to build a relationship with God.
While JoAnn was able to work, she cared for many family members and several others that depended on her gentle care as their personal care provider. JoAnn was a truly devoted wife and mother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
JoAnn was greeted in heaven by her mother Theresa Sebrina Mirelez.

I will miss that beautiful smile and contagious laughter. Rest easy now little angel. Until we meet again.
JoAnn’s personal faith in Jesus Christ was an inspiration to me. She is sorely missed by family and friends alike. I remember the joy she exuded as she spoke of her faith in Jesus to me and others, and find comfort. While I mourn our loss here, I am reminded of the VICTORY in Jesus! I’m so very thankful that that because of God’s mercy and grace found in Jesus Christ, this goodbye is not permanent. See you soon sister.
