Joann Taylor, 78, went to be with the Lord November 2, 2022. She was born April 27, 1944 in Austin, Texas to Joseph Taylor and Esther L. Hill. Joann worked at University Hospital for over 20 years as a Central Supply Technician. She had a strong work ethic and she was blessed with a heart for loving life. She lived her life with a heart of love and Joann was loved by all who knew her.

Joann loved to dance, go on cruises and to laugh. She always stood ready to help others in their time of need.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kimberly Taylor. Sisters, Karen Lewis, Christine Bauknight, Kay Bowe and Joyce Burleson. Brother, R.J. Bauknight. Joann has two grandchildren: Gregory and Rosie. Two great-grandchildren: Kori and Raya. Both of Joann Taylor’s parents precede her in death. Two of her sisters, Sharon Bauknight and Esther Cloubou also precede Joann in death.
